In today’s highly competitive market, it can be difficult to stand out among the crowd when applying for a position with one of America’s premier helicopter operators. We designed our comprehensive Turbine Transition Course to give pilots a leg-up by providing them with the knowledge and experience necessary to act as pilot in command of a turbine-powered helicopter.
Pilots who enroll in our course will receive ground training on turbine-specific systems, performance characteristics, limitations, and maintenance. Flight training places emphasis on the specific considerations unique to turbine-powered helicopters when carrying out normal, advanced, and emergency operations.
Our Turbine Transition Course is available under FAR Part 61 and Universal Helicopters’ FAA-approved Part 141 certificates. It can be tailored to the specific needs of our customer.
Students may choose a Robinson R66, Bell 206B3, or Bell 505 for this type of training. Your personal aircraft can also be utilized.
Maneuvers must be performed at or above the FAA Practical Test Standards for your current pilot certificate to receive endorsement from Universal Helicopters.
