The following are prerequisites for applicants wishing to enroll in our Helicopter Pilot Career Program or Airline Pilot Career Program as outlined by 14 CFR Part 61 of the Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs). They are a combination of eligibility requirements for Student Pilots outlined in FAR Part 61.83 and Private Pilots outlined in FAR Part 61.103.
We can provide instructions and assist in your application for a Class 3 Medical Certificate and Student Pilot Certificate.
For our Foreign Student Applicants: Universal Flight Concepts and Universal Helicopters have been providing flight training to foreign student applicants for years. We have extensive experience with the processes involved and are approved to issue authorization letters for M-1 Foreign Student Visas, as required, to receive flight training in the U.S. We also work directly with applicants regarding TSA applications and processing.

PROOF OF U.S. CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED:
- For U.S. citizens born inside the U.S.
- Provide a valid U.S. passport; or
- A state-issued birth certificate together with a valid government-issued photo ID
- For U.S. citizens born outside the U.S.
- U.S. naturalization certificate with raised seal / certificate of naturalization issued by USCIS together with a U.S. government-issued photo ID; or
- Original certificate of birth abroad together with a U.S. government-issued photo ID; or
- Certificate of U.S. citizenship or certificate of repatriation together with a U.S. government-issued photo ID
